My Favorite Public Figure

Raditya Dika

Raditya Dika is a famous figure in Indonesia. He is a writer, comedian, director, actor, youtuber, influencer, etc.

Achievements:

• One of the first Indonesian YouTuber who received  “Youtube Partner Rewards" and the first Indonesian YouTuber to gain more than 1 million subscribers.
• Almost all of his films entered box office
• One of the founders of Stand Up Indo Community

Things that I like about him:

• He always one step ahead from everyone
• His idea about minimalism, and the way he manage his money
• His sense of humor
• His videos on youtube, movies, and stand up comedies always make me laugh

I think Raditya Dika is every comedian’s role model. He started his career as a comedy blogger, and now he is one of the best comedian in Indonesia who have reached his pension fund.

Alqeshira Najma Feyza

Awardee of scholarship Beasiswa Indonesia Maju held on 2022 by Puspresnas Kemendikbud, OPSI/KoPSI medalist in her highschool year

Alqeshira Najma Feyza, usually called by "Alqe" is a bachelor student from Indonesia whose now studying enginering major in UBC Canada, year of 2026. She got her scholarship in year 2022 by a program called BIM (Beasiswa Indonesia Maju) held by Indonesian goverment to cover selected and qualified student's study expenses and living cost overbroad without any trouble, as the awardee of the scholarship, Alqee has state that she will do her best to utilize the privilege she has gotten to study abroad, come back to Indonesia and bring changes to our country with all the things she had studied while she's in Canada.

My favorite quote from her:

Everything that you had spent, including time, blood, and tears will eventually reward you sooner or later. Whatever challenge you may face off, don’t let yourself throw the effort you have done, don’t give up. Learn to have your own principle and don’t waste your time minding on every single thing other people says if it doesn’t espouse you to become the better self of you, or if it’s not a constructed criticism, Allah is the best planner."

My opinion about her statement :

I agree a lot with her quote, because it is hard to have your way on achieving your dreams, having to face lots of challenges, negative environment and people, not to mention the failure we face on the road. Yet, I believe that all my efforts will eventually be paid off in the future, no matter how, even if it’s not the result we wanted. I believe that Allah is the best planner, he might have prepared much greater rewards behind all the failures we faced in our journey, because his plan is beyond human comprehension.

 I really admire and look up on her, i hope in the future I could follow her trail and achieve my own dream to get a schoolarship and also study abroad on the university i wanted without burding my parents
